Welcome
On behalf of Fr. Adrian MacNamara and all the parishioners of Corpus Christi, Coventry we welcome you to our parish website.
We came into existence in the autumn of 1956 when Fr. Peter Tuite was sent to south east Coventry to form a new parish from the areas of Ernesford Grange, Binley, Binley Woods, Stoke Aldermoor, Willenhall and Whitley.
As we now move into our 50th year, we will be commemorating our Golden Jubilee with a “Holy Year” from Corpus Christi 2006 (June 15th) to Corpus Christi 2007 (June 7th). Below you will find our Jubilee Prayer and we hope that you will join us in praying God’s blessing upon our parish, so that we may live and proclaim ”a year of the Lord’s favour” Lk 4:19
Whether you are an existing member of the parish, a former member of the parish or a visitor we hope you find these pages of interest and that will give you an insight into the past, present and future life of Corpus Christi parish.

Jubilee Prayer
Generous God
From whom comes every good and perfect gift.
We thank you for the blessings which you have bestowed on our parish these fifty years.
For the many people that have laboured in our parish we give you thanks.
With open minds and hearts we offer you our lives.
Pour out your Spirit on our parish of Corpus Christi.
Let your grace sustain us.
As your body, give us a new heart full of compassion and justice.
Let our hands do deeds of love and caring and let our feet walk into the future with faith and trust.
In this Jubilee Year draw us closer to you and to each other.
Bless our parish.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
